Paul W. Hodge (born 1934) is an American astronomer. He was born in Washington. He earned an undergraduate degree in Physics from Yale and a doctorate in Astronomy from Harvard. In 1965 he and George Wallerstein created the astronomy department at the University of Washington, and he has been a professor there ever since. He was the Editor of the ''Astronomical Journal'' from 1984-2004. His recent research has focused on the star formation properties of nearby galaxies including the Andromeda Galaxy.
